Like everything at La Salle, we put you and your goals first. Our dedicated transfer team understands you want to benefit from your prior educational experience. They’ll be with you through every step of the transfer process. Here are some common questions answered about transferring to La Salle:
When can I transfer?
You can transfer Fall or Spring into La Salle.
Will I be eligible for scholarships?
Yes. Applicants are evaluated for merit scholarships automatically upon admission to maximize the financial aid package — just complete your FAFSA and add La Salle.
Will my credits transfer?
We work to maximize your credits. When your transcript is evaluated, we’ll work with you to create a seamless pathway to keep you on track toward graduation. Check here to see if your course has been evaluated for transferability.

What do I need to apply?
- Complete an application for admission:
- Send us official college transcripts from each institution attended:
- Students who wish to enroll at La Salle University are obliged to disclose all information regarding former post-secondary institutions that they have attended.
- Official transcripts from each prior school will be required in order to issue an admission decision.
- Students who have attended a prior institution and have not satisfied their financial obligation to that school will not be permitted to enroll at La Salle University.
- The Office of Admissions reserves the right to deny admission to any student who does not comply with admission policies.
- Write an essay/personal statement*:
- Tell us why you want to transfer to La Salle and anything else you feel is important to us to know about your educational journey.
- Forward an academic recommendation completed by an instructor or counselor.
- We’d like to hear about you from someone who has been involved in your education prior to this.
- Please note: All applicants to the School of Nursing and Health Sciences are required to submit two letters of recommendation.
- Send us official high school transcripts.
- This is required for all students that have fewer than 30 college credits earned and for applicants to the School of Nursing and Health Sciences.
