The Student Government Association (SGA) is the officially recognized representative of the student body here at La Salle University. The main role of the SGA is to serve as a liaison between students and administration in order to enrich the academic integrity and social environment of the La Salle community. SGA supports individual interests through collective action and fosters academic freedom, academic responsibility, and student excellence inside and outside of the classroom. The role of the Presidential Student Advisory Council (PSAC) is to provide La Salle University’s leadership with the student perspective on a variety of matters affecting the institution. PSAC is a roundtable of undergraduate and graduate students representing a broad range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, responding to agenda topics presented by the President, with the ultimate goal of advancing La Salle University’s interests, and bettering the campus life and community. The International Education Advisory Council (IEAC) consists of multiple internal stakeholders who assist in the development and support of the University’s international education initiatives. The IEAC develops strategic and international pathways for all students to acquire global knowledge, skills and perspectives. The IEAC recommends, reviews and evaluates policies to guide La Salle’s international development and advocate the University’s continued internationalization efforts.
