La Salle Provides a variety of ways you can effectively promote your brand on campus, helping your business to successfully build and maintain a pipeline of top talent. The Career Center will work with you to create a customized plan that meets your hiring needs.
Job & Internship Fairs
La Salle University’s Career Center hosts two on-campus fairs annually where employers can connect with students and recent grads to identify candidates for full-time openings, internship or co-op opportunities, and part-time and summer jobs. Our fairs draw hundreds of students from all academic majors, class levels, and degrees. Registration for all fairs is found in Handshake or you can contact us directly for more information.
On Campus Interviews
Our On-Campus Recruitment (OCR) Program invites you to bring your job or internship to La Salle’s campus. Every semester major corporations, companies, government agencies, and social service and non-profit organizations come to La Salle’s Main Campus to interview students seeking full-time employment, internships, and co-ops.
Tabling
Employer Tabling allows you to reserve space at a targeted campus location during the day to attract students’ attention on-campus and distribute information regarding your organization. Some high trafficked options for tabling include the Student Union, Founders’ Hall Atrium, Hayman Hall Main Hall, and Holroyd Hall Atrium.
Employer and Alumni Panels
Industry-specific employer and alumni panels are held throughout the academic year to help educate students about career paths and opportunities within industries and organizations.
Information Sessions
Introduce students to your industry and your organization, acquaint them with your organization’s culture, and possibly connect them with recent La Salle hires who are succeeding within your organization. Typically, employers conduct a 30-minute presentation, followed by 15-30 minutes for Q&A.
Coffee Chats
Employer coffee chats allow for employers and students to connect informally for 1:1 or small group conversations. Coffee chats are “open” sign-up meetings, which means any student that is interested in learning more about your organization can sign up for a meeting on a first-come, first-serve basis. During coffee chats, students reserve a 15 or 20-minute timeslot to meet with your organization’s representative(s). Conversations are informal and allow students to learn more about your organization, receive feedback on their resume, ask about your application process, and practice for interviews. Coffee chats typically take place at on-campus coffee houses for a period of 2-3 hours.
