Inspired by our Lasallian values, we believe that a quality education should be available to anyone, regardless of financial standing. La Salle University stands strong on that foundation, which is why we’re dedicated to making college education affordable for everyone. And our scholarships make tuition costs even lighter.
Eligibility: Prospective freshmen interested in applying for the Christian Brothers’ Scholarship may complete a scholarship application while also awaiting their admission decision from the University. However, prospective freshmen must be accepted by La Salle in order to qualify for the scholarship.
Christian Brothers’ Scholarship applicants are reviewed holistically, with particular emphasis placed on cumulative grade point average, strength of curriculum, and academic and extracurricular leadership, as evidenced by honors and awards.
Previous Christian Brothers’ Scholarship recipients have ranked in the top 10% of their graduating class and achieved a median grade point average of a 4.0 over their first three years of high school.
Please note that applicants applying to the University via our Test-Optional Admission policy need not submit standardized test scores to be considered for the Christian Brothers’ Scholarship.
Requirements: Christian Brothers’ Scholarships are valued at the amount of the annual full cost of tuition and are renewable each year for four years if normal progress is being made toward the degree and if the student maintains a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
In addition to the completed application for admission to La Salle, each candidate must submit the following credentials for the review of the scholarship selection committee:
Letters of recommendation from two additional individuals of the applicant’s choice. Letters of recommendation should be sent to admiss@lasalle.edu.
The student must be deeply committed to community service, as shown by their level of involvement and other details described in the application.
Any incoming freshman student who completes the La Salle application will be considered. Candidates are selected based on GPA and quality of curriculum.
