La Salle University and our generous donors are proud to offer a variety of scholarships to help students pay for their education. Some of the major La Salle scholarships include:
Full-time freshmen with extensive service backgrounds and a demonstrated interest in future service are eligible for this full-tuition scholarship, which is renewable each year. Recipients are selected in part based on their GPA, strength of curriculum, and academic and extracurricular leadership. Application deadline: Feb. 1.
Full-time freshmen with community service backgrounds who will commit to service while at La Salle can receive up to $5,000 annually. Application deadline: June 15.
La Salle automatically considers for this scholarship all prospective freshmen and transfer students who apply for admission. The renewable scholarship can range from $12,000 to $22,000 annually.
La Salle fields NCAA Division I athletic teams in seven men’s sports and 10 women’s sports. Athletes can receive scholarships based on their past performance and future potential.
Direct descendants (child, grandchild, or great-grandchild) of La Salle alumni receive $1,000 annually.
Students who transfer to La Salle via a Dual Admission Agreement with one of its partner community colleges receive a $1,500 scholarship annually.
PTK members with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher are eligible for this scholarship.
Students majoring in middle school or secondary education with a math or science concentration are eligible for this scholarship. They also must demonstrate financial need through their Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Priority deadline for incoming freshmen: Jan. 15. Priority deadline for current La Salle students: Nov. 1.
This scholarship is for students ages 25 and older – especially women – who have completed at least 60 credits toward a bachelor’s degree. Applicants also must demonstrate financial need through their Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Priority deadline: Aug. 21.
Graduates of 37 Philadelphia-area high schools are eligible for “last dollar” scholarships from the Maguire Foundation for four years. Applicants must have earned at least a 3.0 GPA in high school, be engaged in community service or extracurricular activities, and demonstrate financial need. Deadline: March 15.
Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in La Salle’s School of Business Evening Division can apply for these scholarships. Applicants must demonstrate financial need through their Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Priority deadline: Aug. 21.
This scholarship is for an African American freshman with demonstrated academic achievement and financial need.
