Students planning to teach math or science in a middle school or high school can apply for the Annenberg-Henrich Scholarship. Requirements vary for different types of applicants:

  • Incoming freshmen must have a combined SAT score (verbal and math) of at least 1220 or rank in the top 20 percent of their high school graduating class. They also must have been admitted to La Salle.
  • Current La Salle students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, with reviews after each semester.
  • Transfer students can apply after they complete at least 15 credits (one semester) at La Salle. They must meet the same GPA requirements as current students.

To be eligible for the scholarship, all applicants must:

  • File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid
  • Have financial need as determined through their FAFSA
  • Declare a major in secondary education with a math or science concentration
  • Submit the application and a one-page typed essay about why they want to become a math or science teacher
