Dr. Gregory J. (Greg) Nayor brings over 23 years of professional experience in higher education to La Salle, serving most recently as the senior vice president of strategic initiatives at Daemen University in Amherst, NY, where he was responsible for all aspects of the student life experience, enrollment management, marketing and community, and retention and persistence efforts, as well as other key strategic initiatives. During his time at Daemen, Dr. Nayor re-imagined student life on campus, led the development of key diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, brought stability and growth to enrollment management during a period of great upheaval, and lead the emergency response efforts of the institution before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
An energetic and innovative leader, Dr. Nayor has served on various committees and organizations at the local, state, and national level, including serving as a Middle States Accreditation Site Visitor and being recognized by the City of Buffalo as one of their “40 under 40” for 2018.
With professional foci on strategic planning, enrollment management, emergency response, and creating inclusive communities, Dr. Nayor has presented extensively on these topics and others, as a consultant and presenter and has served as associate faculty for the past 10+ years higher education programs at Immaculata University, Drexel, Penn State University World Campus, and Buffalo University.
Dr. Nayor holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Virginia.
