Dr. Anne Walsh is an Associate Professor of Strategic Management and Business Policy in the Leadership and Management Department at La Salle University. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and her M.B.A. with a specialization in management from La Salle University. Dr. Walsh currently teaches global and competitive strategy in the MBA program and strategy formulation and analysis in the undergraduate program of the business school.
Dr. Walsh’s primary research activities are related to strategic management and strategic ventures in the nonprofit and corporate sector. Some of her strategy articles have appeared in the Journal of Applied Business and Economics, Healthcare Strategic Management, Journal of Health and Social Policy, and Journal of Applied Business Research while her strategy cases were recently published in the 13th edition of Strategic Management: Concepts and Cases. During the past several years, her articles on mentoring and professional networks have also appeared in the Journal of Healthcare Management, Healthcare Management Review, and Women in Management Review. Dr. Walsh previously served on the editorial boards of the Journal of Applied Business and Economics, Journal of Health Administration Education, and Health Administration Press.
