Kathleen Neumeister received her BSN from Holy Family College (now Holy Family University) in 1986 and her MSN in 1993 from La Salle College (now La Salle University). She also received her school nurse certificate from Widener University in 2000. In 2003, she started working as adjunct instructor for La Salle and was hired as a full-time clinical faculty member in September, 2006. She has taught a variety of clinicals including Pediatrics, Public Health, Fundamentals, Medical-Surgical, and Maternity. Through the support of Project Hope, in 1990 Neumeister had the opportunity to teach Rehabilitation Nursing in Yerevan, Armenia for three months after the country experienced a devastating earthquake. Prior to joining the faculty at La Salle, she was a nurse at Shriners Hospital for Children for 20 years and a nurse consultant for SPIN, Inc.
