Leo Rudnytzky, Ph.D.

Dr. Rudnytzky is a Professor of Germanic and Slavic Literatures at La Salle (1960-1998) and the former Director and Co-founder of the University’s Central and Eastern European Studies Program (1990-99).He received the Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching at La Salle in 1966, was named Professor Emeritus in 1998 and is the recipient of seven honorary degrees. From 1998-2004, he served as the Rector of the Ukrainian Free University in Munich In addition to the publications that follow, he has authored numerous articles in the Ukrainian language press in the both United States and abroad.
