Lisa M. Laura, J.D., R.D.N., L.D.N. (she, her, hers) is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Urban Public Health and Nutrition. She completed her undergraduate work at Duke University with degrees in zoology (biology) and psychology with a concentration in neuroscience. She went on to attend law school and received her juris doctorate from the New York University School of Law.
Her personal interest in nutrition and health policy led her to become a registered dietitian. She ran a successful private practice while teaching at La Salle as an Assistant Professor for ten years. She is now pursuing her nutrition consulting business full-time while continuing to teach as adjunct faculty in the Master’s Coordinated program.
