Exciting things are happening at La Salle University.
We recently launched our strategic plan, Ascend, that will guide us through to 2028. This plan’s six pillars, which you will read about in these pages of La Salle Magazine, will help us achieve our goal of being a leading Lasallian Catholic educational institution.
Giving our students the best opportunities for an innovative education aligned with international and industry opportunities will graduate Lasallians who are equipped with the best tools to enter the global workforce.
I am honored to work alongside our University community to build something we are proud of and that will guide us for the next five years. Our institution already offers students a challenging and rewarding academic experience—and people are taking notice.
Earlier this fall, U.S. News & World Report named the University within the top-half of all national universities on the Best Colleges rankings for the second consecutive year. La Salle saw significant jumps in its rankings for value, social mobility, and our undergraduate nursing program.
The University is also No. 1 among Lasallian national institutions in the U.S., along with being recognized as a top performer in best value and social mobility.
And that’s not all. Our institution performed highly in other rankings including placing in the top tier on Third Way’s Economic Mobility Index and receiving high rankings on Washington Monthly’s College Guide for earnings and service.
Outside of the classroom, we continue to make campus improvements including the announced renovations to TruMark Financial Center. This kicks off a multi-phase plan to enhance the college athletics experience for our student-athletes, sports fans, and the overall University community.
What’s next for La Salle will only strengthen our vision and mission.
I look forward to achieving all of it alongside you.
