What activities were you involved with as a student?
As an evening graduate student, there were not many opportunities for engagement. I was a work-study student in the marketing department which set me on my career path. I worked with a faculty member who served, many years later, on my dissertation committee.
How have you remained active or engaged with the University as an alumna since graduation?
I have been a member of the Dean’s Circle in years past. I taught for La Salle as an adjunct faculty member in the School of Business for several years. I participated in the Executives on Campus for several years including 2023. I was also an invited guest speaker for a summer international MBA program and several undergraduate business courses. During my first term on the Alumni Board, I attended every meeting except one and served on the Marketing Committee. I have also remained a consistent donor to La Salle.
Why do you want to serve a second term on the Alumni Board?
I ran for the Alumni Board to give back to the University. I know how important it is to demonstrate alumni engagement to students, parents, and prospective students. I enjoy modeling this behavior for the La Salle community.
