Location: Philadelphia, PA Major: Mass Communication; Minor: Italian Role: Director of Contracts & Procurement, Public Health Management Corporation ‘PHMC’; Owner, AR Workshop Chestnut Hill
What activities were you involved with as a student? During my four years at La Salle, I was on the Dance Team and held a work study job. As an upperclassman, I held a part time job and internships. I am happy that I was able to be at La Salle for the football team it had during my time at La Salle. We were able to perform for the fans during that historic period of La Salle history!
How have you remained active or engaged with the University as an alumna since graduation? I have been a Freshman Mentor since 2018, recently participated in the 2023 Explorer Shadow Program, spoke to students about Procurement in the classroom and attended Men’s Basketball games on campus.
Why do you want to run for the Alumni Board of Directors? I want to contribute more to the school that gave me my start! I was enrolled in the Academic Discovery Program (ADP) the summer before my freshman year. The ADP Program believed in my abilities and allowed me to express myself and experience so many things that was out of reach. Being able to provide guidance and opportunities to current and future students is very important to me. In my current role at a non-profit, I hope to be able to recruit La Salle students for employment, internship and shadowing opportunities.
Is there any other information you would like to share? I have been on numerous boards, but I have not yet contributed to one of my alma maters. I have vast leadership experience in corporate and non-profit fields. I have held co-chair roles on advisory and governing boards for member engagement and marketing functions. My goal is to always and continue to put Philadelphia first and I believe in its potential to produce outstanding talent from its higher education organizations. I am still proud to be an Explorer, continuing my father’s legacy as a graduate.
