What is Day of Giving?

Day of Giving is a 24-hour fundraising event to support La Salle University. To date, we have raised over $5 million dollars toward scholarships and to enhance the student experience. We are proud of these efforts and want to continue supporting La Salle students—present and future. This year’s event is an opportunity for everyone in the University community—alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, and friends – to make a philanthropic gift to support the students of La Salle. 

When is Day of Giving?

This year’s Day of Giving – the 11th annual – takes place on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. The event kicks off at midnight and will last 24 hours until 11:59 p.m. 

What does Day of Giving support?

La Salle students are prepared to impact society and the world through the rigorous and practical education they receive. The 11th Annual Day of Giving allows us to continue our commitment to enhancing the student experience. Your generosity on April 10, 2024, will help our students to be known for more. 

How do I make a gift?

Online: Click on the “Give Now” button to participate by giving via credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo or bank account transfer.

Is my contribution tax-deductible?

All gifts made on Day of Giving are 100 percent tax-deductible, and you will receive a tax receipt after you make your gift. 

Is there a minimum gift amount?

For 2024, the minimum gift that can be processed is $5.00. 

What if I have already made a gift to La Salle University this fiscal year?

First, thank you for your support! Please know that we appreciate your ongoing support of La Salle University and encourage you to consider another gift on Day of Giving to support our students. The University’s fiscal year runs June 1 – May 31.
