Ajanta Jain

Ajanta Jain is a Senior Risk Leader with over 25 years of experience in global and domestic banking, and operational and technology audits. In her current role as an independent Senior Risk Consultant, she collaborates with business leaders to integrate good governance and risk management practices into business strategies and activities (e.g., business processes, transformational projects (e.g., move to public cloud), etc.). Prior to this, Ajanta served as a member of the Audit leadership at Sallie Mae and was responsible for Technology, Third Party Management, Data Governance, and Retail Banking audits. Ajanta also led their efforts in the use of audit automation and data analytics.

Prior to Sallie Mae, Ajanta held audit leadership positions at Vanguard and Wells Fargo. Her experience at Vanguard included oversight of information technology audits. At Wells Fargo, Ajanta had multiple roles including managing the audits for the wholesale banking division and the enterprise technology division.

Academically, Ajanta also taught Internal Audit at the University of Delaware as an Adjunct Professor.

Ajanta also currently serves on the Board of the ISACA Philadelphia Chapter and Temple University’s Advisory Board for the IT Audit and Cyber Security (ITACS) Master Program.
