La Salle University has continued with “Zone Parking” for the 2024-2025 academic year.

“Main” Campus parking has been replaced with Gold Zone Parking, which is being expanded to include Lot E, commonly known as the Connelly Library and President’s lot. The expansion of the Gold Zone was necessary to accommodate the increased demand for parking centrally located. Gold Zone parking is limited and by necessity must be restricted on space availability.

  1. Gold Zone has been expanded to include the lots adjacent to the Connelly Library. Main Campus is now considered Gold Zone parking, Gold Zone permits replaced Main Campus permits. Permits and parking are available on a first come first serve basis.
  2. Permanently disabled faculty, staff, and students must display a current University parking permit, in addition to, an appropriate Disabled Person placard or license plate issued by a state authority. Permanently disabled faculty, staff and students are allowed parking in the gold zone, regardless of permit purchased.
  3. Temporary handicap parking permits will be issued through the SAR ID/Parking for those persons having a need. Permits issued under this classification shall be issued for the probable duration of the handicap or a total period of 90 days. A treating physician’s documentation is required specifically requesting handicap parking. Temporary handicap parking permits allow for parking in the gold zone on a temporary basis.
  4. Members of the Brothers of the Christian Schools’ community with the proper permits are able to utilize parking on Gold Zone.

There is no overnight parking in the Gold Zone areas except for the Christian Brothers community members.
