The Nonprofit Center at La Salle’s School of Business offers a wide range of services for the nonprofit sector, including nearly 100 workshops annually and consulting and leadership development. Independent 529 enables you to purchase future tuition at today’s lower prices. The Independent 529 Plan allows you to prepay tuition today that your child can later use at any college that has signed on as a member of the plan.

The PC529 Plan is the only prepaid 529 plan sponsored by private colleges and universities nationwide. As of May 2011, there are 272 participating schools, and La Salle University is one of them. It provides a guarantee against tuition inflation and the flexibility to choose from some of the nation’s top colleges. There are no fees charged to account owners, as 100 percent of contributions go toward the purchase of tuition that is held in a qualified trust. There is no investment risk to the account owner, as participating institutions bear the financial risk associated with advance payment of tuition.

La Salle, in accordance with Archdiocese of Philadelphia policies, allows Catholic weddings in the De La Salle Chapel and the Saint Joseph Chapel.

Present members of the La Salle University community (faculty, staff, and students) and alumni are eligible to celebrate their weddings on campus. University Ministry and Service is happy to work with you on planning your special ceremony.

La Salle’s food provider, Aramark, can also work with couples on their catering needs. Catering services can be reached at (215) 951-1385.

For alumni that live in the zip codes surrounding La Salle University in the Germantown, Olney, Logan and Wister areas, you have access to use the Wetzler Track.  Alumni who wish to use the track must go to Public Safety headquarters with a valid ID that has your address and sign a waiver.
