The Explorer Shadow Program is a joint effort between the Career Center, Alumni Engagement, and participating departments/programs.
The program is a one-day shadow experience that allows La Salle students to “shadow”, or observe, a professional to get a behind-the-scenes look at a specific job or company. Students can experience these shadow opportunities in both the Fall and Spring semesters.
The Explorer Shadow Program allows you to:
Explore a career field of interest, without the commitment of an internship.
Gain first-hand knowledge of a real work environment and on-the-job etiquette.
Uncover possible opportunities for future careers.
Connect directly with your host (an alumnus/a or other professional), who can serve as an excellent resource for career, job and internship advice.
For More Detailed Information On The Explorer Shadow Program:
All students can participate in one or both semesters each academic year. If you would like to participate in both semesters you MUST fill out an application for both Fall and Spring.
Once you have filled out an application, you can then request access to the ESP Student Site or wait for someone from the ESP team to add you to the site. Here you will find all the information you will need for your next steps of participation in the program.
