This may involve changing some of your spring classes, which is only possible during the first week of the semester, and/or strategizing about summer classes. This might help you avoid academic probation at the end of the year, and potentially avoid decreases in your financial aid. Join us and leave our workshop with some concrete plans and ideas for how to raise your GPA more effectively!
Locking In For Spring Thursday, Jan. 16, 12:30-1:30 p.m., Lawrence 409 Tuesday, Jan. 21, 12:30-1:30 p.m., Lawrence 409 Join the Success Coaches and work through organizing your syllabi, calendars/reminders, notifications, etc. so that it’s easier to be successful this spring! We’ll think through what worked and didn’t work for you in the fall and we’ll have time to share ideas and ask questions! A little organizing now will relieve some pressure on Future You so that you can more easily keep track of what’s important with less stress. Bring all your syllabi, any devices you use for school (laptop, phone), and your planner/calendar if you have one.
I Need More Time! Wednesday, Jan. 22, 5-5:30 p.m., Online Get a quick half-hour overview of effective time management techniques. We’ll identify busy times of the semester, break large projects into smaller tasks, and develop effective weekly routines.
