Widener Experiential Learning at La Salle (WELLS) is a transition program for students that have graduated from Widener Memorial School with an individual education plan. WELLS supports individuals on their journey towards achieving their independent living, employment, and post-secondary goals.
The mission of WELLS Vocational Program is to support Widener Memorial School selected students and recent graduates, with physical and development disabilities, by providing structured experience in a University locational setting in order to facilitate lifelong learning skills and transition from school into the workforce. The mission is targeted to provide purpose for “Life after Widener School” transition opportunities.
