The actualization and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion is at the heart of the Lasallian Mission. The Office of Mission, Diversity, and Inclusion supports the La Salle University community in their understanding and realization of the distinctive academic and communal mission.
The Office of Mission, Diversity, and Inclusion is responsible for programs and activities that engage, celebrate, and support the University community’s development in and understanding of our Mission, Catholic intellectual tradition, diversity and inclusion practices, and Lasallian heritage. The Office is responsible for, among other things, faculty, staff and student Mission orientation; Mission, diversity and inclusion-based programming, and assessment; faculty/staff development for Mission (formation); Mission recognition; and Mission, diversity and inclusion-based hiring. The Office also serves as a resource for those wishing to better understand best diversity and inclusion practices and explore the heritage and identity of La Salle University.
The Office collaborates with faculty and staff to advance the Mission of the University and diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in the spirit of Association through the University Ministry, Service and Support Center and the Multicultural and International Center.
