  • Received a B.A. in English from La Salle College in 1954
  • Received an M.A. in Religion from La Salle College in 1955

Positions at La Salle:

  • Assistant Professor of English at La Salle College beginning in 1966, and also served as the Director of Residents at St. Albert’s Hall.
  • Director of Housing at La Salle.
  • Served as the last “Dean of Men” at La Salle.
  • Was the first “Dean of Students” at La Salle (co-education).
  • Director of the Annual Fund
  • Director of Development
  • Director of Major Gifts

Hobbies / Interests:

  • Reading
  • Attending movies, the theater, and live musical events
  • Visiting museums, especially art collections

Favorite Memory of La Salle:

Observing the ROTC (Reserve Officers Training Corps) regiment of La Salle students marching from the La Salle campus to the annual Mass of St. Barbara at the Church of the Holy Child (Broad Street, renamed the Church of Our Lady of Hope).

Something unique which does NOT appear on a standard resume:

  • I won a gold medal for Palmer Method penmanship in grade school.
  • I was voted to receive the Best Actor Award in a high school play.
