Observing the ROTC (Reserve Officers Training Corps) regiment of La Salle students marching from the La Salle campus to the annual Mass of St. Barbara at the Church of the Holy Child (Broad Street, renamed the Church of Our Lady of Hope).

I won a gold medal for Palmer Method penmanship in grade school.
