Received a B.A. degree in History from La Salle, 1971.

Position at La Salle:

Assistant Provost for 20 years until retirement in 2021.

Hobbies / Interests:

• Life-long interest in motion pictures as both entertainment and as an art form
• Listening to classical music
• Reading both works of History and contemporary national/international politics
• Has upgraded or assembled several desktop personal computers for over  30 years
• Reader of classic science fiction by Jules Verne, Ray Bradbury, and Isaac Asimov.

My favorite La Salle memory:

Replacing Provost Richard Nigro at Commencement and handing out the “diplomas,” resulting in my appearing on Action News that same evening.

My having taken several sailing vacations in the Caribbean with my late brother on ships very small and very large!
