Janine Mariscotti, MSW, LCSW

Janine Mariscotti is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work at La Salle University. Within the Social Work Department, Janine has served as Field Director, BSW Program Director and currently, MSW Program Director. Janine’s research interests include loss and grief, the labyrinth as a psychospiritual intervention, and assessment in social work education. She presents nationally and internationally on the areas of research and practice. Janine has served on the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) as a Commissioner on Accreditation and as a member of the Council on Practice Methods and Specializations. A recipient of the Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching, Janine is committed to teaching and learning that is both challenging and compassionate. In addition to teaching undergraduate and graduate social work as well as first-year seminar students, Janine is a clinical social worker who collaborates with individuals, couples, and families facing personal and interpersonal challenges.
