Laura Grande, M.S.

Laura Grande earned her Bachelor of the Arts degree with a major in both Chemistry and Biochemistry and a minor in Forensic Science from La Salle University in 2007. She then attained her Master of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2010. Her research at the University of Notre Dame used x-ray crystallography to study the disorder of small molecules bound to porphyrin molecules, and also involved helping to develop a new structural analysis technique, Nuclear Resonance Vibrational Spectroscopy (NRVS).

After graduate school, Ms. Grande started a tutoring business and also began teaching as an adjunct professor at several different universities, including Temple University, Immaculata University, Lancaster College of Nursing and Health Sciences, and La Salle. In Fall, 2011, she joined the full-time faculty of La Salle as a member of the Chemistry Department. She is responsible for coordinating the Chemistry for Health Sciences course, as well as teaching laboratory classes and Forensic Science.
