Mary Wilby has been a nurse practicing in various clinical settings for over 30 years. Her interests in nursing are rather broad and stem primarily from the experiences she has shared with patients and students. Her clinical interests are primarily in the care of individuals with chronic illness and the effects of poverty on health. Outside of La Salle she continues to practice on a per-diem basis at two local health care institutions providing care to patients with advanced illness.
