As of May 2024, Michael Moll has been appointed as the Interim Dean for the School of Business.
Michael Moll is a seasoned higher education professional with expertise in student affairs, program development, operations management, and strategic planning.
In 2015, Michael played a pivotal role in the inception of what’s now known as the Hofstra Northwell School of Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies at Hofstra University. He led initiatives including course scheduling, curriculum design, student advisement, as well as student recruitment and retention. After three years at Hofstra, Michael joined Northwell Health where he directed the renegotiation of the largest comprehensive waste management contract in the health system’s history. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was instrumental in managing aspects of the health system’s supply chain, ensuring emergency treatment facilities were well-equipped with the necessary supplies.
At the height of the pandemic, Michael returned to his passion for higher education, becoming the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at the Hofstra Northwell School of Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies. He managed all day-to-day and business operations, and contributed to the university’s COVID testing and vaccination efforts, aiding in a swift campus reopening for in-person instruction.
In the summer of 2022, Michael moved to the Philadelphia area and joined La Salle University as the Associate Dean for the School of Business. At La Salle, he’s led the rollout of a Health Systems Management specialization for the MBA program and spearheaded the new Sport Management undergraduate major in collaboration with respective faculty.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lebanon Valley College, as well as an MBA from Hofstra University.
