Dr. Nilofar Varzgani is an assistant professor of Business Systems & Analytics (BS&A) where she teaches courses in Operations Management, Statistics, and Information Systems.  She received her Ph.D. in Management Science from Rutgers Business School at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. She has worked as a business analytics consultant in the Procurement and Analytics Solutions Division at A.T. Kearney Global Management Consulting.

Her research interests include text analytics, statistical modelling, financial analytics, and supply chain analytics. She serves on the editorial boards of Annals of Operations Research, Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance, and Naval Research Logistics. Dr. Varzgani has published in top journals like the International Journal of Management and Decision Making, the International Journal of Systems Science: Operations & Logistics, and the Decision Analytics Journal.

She was recognized as the Lindback Emerging Scholar (2022–2024) at La Salle University. Dr. Varzgani teaches Data Mining, Data Visualizations, Optimization, and Sports Analytics.
