The Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate is an online program designed to enhance your nursing skillset by developing an expertise in gerontology. You will learn how to prevent, diagnose, and treat common health problems for adults and older adults while focusing on at-risk and vulnerable populations. This program will also prepare advanced practice nurses for a variety of settings, including hospital-based outpatient clinics, private practices, public clinics, and specialty practices.
Our program will teach you the skills you need to manage healthcare for adult and older adult patients and prepare you to take either the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Associate of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) exam to become certified as a nurse practitioner.
