(Please note: All students must complete the admissions process before registering.)
You will receive a customized registration letter through your La Salle email several weeks before registration begins. Be sure to regularly utilize this email account as many important notices are sent to it. Visit the Registration | Undergraduate Day Students Checklist for registration dates and other information.
Read your pre-registration guide carefully, and take down your registration date and time which is customized for you based on your class status. You will not be allowed to register before this date and time.
Find the “Registration Status” area in Banner Prepare for Registration. You can also check your date and time via the Registration Channel in the mylasalle portal.
Ensure your “Registration Status” allows you to register. If you have any hold that may prevent you from registering, you will need to clear those up. For questions regarding holds, email regacct@lasalle.edu.
Make an appointment with your advisor whose name will be in your pre-registration guide email. You can also identify your advisor(s) on your Degree Works page. During your appointment with your advisor, discuss your course requirements, alternative courses in case of course closures, and obtain your PIN which is required for when you go to register online.
Review important registration material pertaining to your School, Major Department and the Registrar’s Office. This can be found in the Registration channel under the Student’s Tab.
Check your Degree Works audit. View the courses you need to complete. You may click on those courses to see when they are being offered. Degree Works can be found under the mylasalle portal > Browse Categories > Tools/Applications or just search “DegreeWorks”.
Review the complete course schedule and familiarize yourself with Br. LUWIS registration.
A high volume of students registering for classes at the same time may cause delays. Please be patient during these times. You can register in person at the University Registrar’s Office if technical problems persist.
Having a hold on your record may prevent you from registering. To check if there’s a hold, log in to Registrar Services channel in the mylasalle portal and find the “Student Registration Resources” area, and click on “View Registration Status/Time Ticket”.
Your use of the Advisor Approval PIN indicates your approval of the courses suggested by your advisor. Should you register for courses other than those suggested by your advisor, neither the University nor your adviser may be held accountable for your enrollment. Changes in your advised schedule may result in unnecessary charges and delay your graduation. In the event your mylasalle account is disabled or you encounter problems with the Br. LUWIS system, please contact the Office of the University Registrar at (215) 951-1020 or email regacct@lasalle.edu
