The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science offers free tutoring to students who are having difficulty with math. During the fall and spring semesters, the lounge, which is located in Holroyd 166, is staffed by Math/Education majors who provide help with undergraduate math courses. No appointment is necessary, and the tutors’ hours are posted on the front door.

The Student Counseling Center at La Salle is a valuable resource available on campus to assist students from diverse backgrounds discuss, confront, and resolve a variety of concerns. These include stress, anxiety, depression, hopelessness, loneliness, problems with identity, addictions, shyness, relationship difficulties, sexual issues, food and body image issues, family difficulties, issues with drugs or alcohol use and questions about academic or career development. Services we provide for full-time undergraduate students and residential graduate students include: individual counseling; group counseling; psychiatric consultation; psychological assessment; crisis intervention; outreach and referral services. We also offer consultation, education, and prevention strategies to the La Salle University community.
