The institute works in our campus community and beyond to support evidence-based teaching practices that lead to meaningful learning. Its faculty conduct research on pedagogical strategies, participate in the Lasallian research network of schools, publish instructional resources for faculty, and administer awards to outstanding teachers.
The ID Team offers training and assistance with learning technologies like Canvas, course design and development resources, online learning platforms, and help with topics like accessibility, copyrights, and assessment.
The center provides nonprofit organizations in the Greater Philadelphia region with educational services, consulting and leadership development, and best practices for management, operation, and governance so they can carry out their mission. They offer classes and online learning, on-site group education, and other educational resources.
The Connelly Library has digital and on-campus resources for educators and education students, with lesson plans, access to education databases, educational media for use in classrooms, and more.
