Monica has worked for two firms in her career, the first was a large financial organization that gave her a solid foundation and a small group of lifelong friends that she still cherishes after 35 years. The second is a boutique wealth advisory practice where the team has become her “work family” and their lives are intertwined with each other’s and the clients they are proud to serve.
Her role as a Partner is very rewarding working hand in hand with a husband-and-wife team that founded our firm over 30 years ago helping them keep it fresh, keep it evolving and keep it moving in the best interest of our clients. Their children grew up attending client holiday parties and their daughter joined them three years ago as a Senior Associate. They specialize in working with multi-generational families because they understand the beauty and complexity of family life – so much so that they keep a box of Kleenex on the conference room table because they often address deeply personal issues when helping clients achieve all that is important to them and those, they love whether it be a child with anxiety and depression or the manager of a catering business that worked side by side with the owner for over 20 years and became like family. She is also proud to work with many women trying to manage their way through divorce or the loss of a spouse. Divide and conquer is a powerful engine that fuels many families and they work hard to help fill that gap whenever possible. They also help women become effective stewards of family wealth, many of whom are learning as they go and looking for someone who speaks their language instead of serving them a meal of alphabet soup and word salad!
In her 30+ years in financial services, she has earned the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst Certification and FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses as well as her NJ insurance license.
