Peg Forrestel is the Director, Community Impact for Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Peg leads social impact efforts on behalf of the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson with a focus on realizing healthier futures for patients and healthier communities in the vicinity of Janssen campuses in Mercer County, NJ and Montgomery County, PA. This involves strategic grantmaking and partnerships, medicine donations, and engaging employees in addressing patient and community needs through personal giving and volunteerism.
Peg has been with Johnson & Johnson for twenty-six years during which time she has worked at their corporate office and several operating companies based in New Jersey and Puerto Rico. Prior to joining community impact, Peg worked in finance in internal audit, operations, and marketing within Johnson & Johnson. Peg began her career working in public accounting for Coopers & Lybrand.
Peg serves on the Board of Directors of Greater Trenton (treasurer), the Board of Directors of the Johnson & Johnson Patient Assistance Foundation, and the Board of Trustees of the Princeton Area Community Foundation. Previous board service includes the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce (treasurer).
In 2023, Peg was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Society at La Salle University. In 2013, Peg received the Mercer County Freeholders Women of Equality Honor. She is also the recipient of several Janssen leadership awards, including the Janssen Bravo Award in 2019 and the Janssen Finance Pinnacle Award in 2003.
