La Salle School of Business has the tools students need to succeed beyond the classroom, specifically with job and internship opportunities. Students may opt to take a professionalism course to improve their interview skills, resumes, professional profiles, etc., and apply for one of two programs to develop their skills even further – the Business Scholars Co-Op Program and the Business Leadership Fellows Program. Both programs can help students connect with La Salle alumni and build their corporate network. The School of Business also offers CPA and CFA prep, as well as information in the Risk Management field.
The School of Business also hosts signature career-focused events to allow students to network with organizations and our active alumni base. Such events include:
Explorers on Campus
Alumni are invited back to campus to speak to business classes about their career paths, trends in their industry, and other current topics.
Bankers’ Day
Three-person panels of executives, acting as “bankers,” evaluate business plans pitched by freshman business students in a “shark-tank” style.
Networking Nights
Alumni offer a glimpse of life after college and help students make the connections they need to advance their academic and career goals.
