Primary assessment and treatment of acute episodic health problems and injuries; maintenance and coordination of care for chronic medical conditions.
Diagnostic testing and treatment available for strep throat, COVID-19, flu, mononucleosis, urinary/bladder infections, sexually transmitted diseases, and other infectious diseases/conditions as indicated. Laboratory testing provided through LabCorp at a cost or processed through students’ insurance.
Optional, convenient availability/dispensing of certain prescription medications and over the counter medications on site and at a cost.
Review and administration of immunizations (available at a cost) as required by La Salle University in accordance with the PA Department of Health’s immunization standard requirements (see required and recommended immunizations).
PPD testing/TB screening as required by many educational programs and employer’s services available at a cost.
Blood pressure, and vision screenings.
Women’s health care and counseling, including breast exams, diagnosis and treatment of vaginal infections and sexually transmitted diseases.
Driver’s and/or employment physical exams; (other physical exams may be arranged on a case-by-case determination).
Referrals to local specialists (medical, dental, rehabilitation, behavioral health, etc.) or free confidential/anonymous HIV testing and counseling can be provided.
