You don’t have to be a student-athlete to stay active and fit at La Salle. Along with club sports and recreational clubs, La Salle boasts various fitness facilities and studios across campus to keep your heart rate moving. Our 3,000 square-foot Independence Blue Cross Fitness Center includes Kirk Pool, tennis and volleyball courts, Tom Gola Arena, and more.
The Independence Blue Cross Fitness Center is the main hub for recreation at La Salle. The 3,000 square foot Fitness Center is located adjacent to Neumann Hall on South Campus.
The ground floor of the Fitness Center features a variety of machines and free weights. The loft has been dedicated to cardiovascular equipment, including treadmills, stationary bikes, stair-climbers, and elliptical machines.
Also included in the Fitness Center are two locker rooms, which include showers, bathrooms, and locker space. Additional storage space for personal items is available for free at the front desk.
The Independence Blue Cross Fitness Center is open to all members of the La Salle Community, including current students, faculty, and staff.
Fitness orientation sessions are offered to familiarize patrons with cardio and strength equipment.
Club Sports are a vital part of student life at La Salle. Club Sports provide students with the opportunity to compete with other schools in a variety sports. La Salle University club sports are student-run, student led sport based organizations that are overseen by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation.

The Intramural program at La Salle gives students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to compete in a variety of sports. Sports are offered in both the fall (flag football, volleyball, and indoor soccer) and spring (basketball and softball). Intramurals are open to any member of the La Salle community with a valid ID.
Students can register individually or as a team.
