Destyny Brooks, ’24, is studying criminal justice and business administration. Outside of the classroom, she’s a budding entrepreneur. 

Homecoming and Family Weekend 2023, held from Nov. 10-12, welcomed alumni, students, families, and friends to La Salle’s campus for three days of events, reunions, and athletics.  

The weekend’s events included a celebration, a basketball doubleheader, and much more.  

La Salle’s Early Achievement Program (LEAP) gives high school students the opportunity to take college courses before becoming a full-time undergraduate student. 

Melanie Guckin, ’25, was in Rome during first synod where women and young people were eligible to vote in the meeting.

Homecoming and Family Weekend will be held at 20th and Olney from Nov. 10-12, 2023. This year’s event includes a tented celebration on the tennis courts, a basketball doubleheader, Alumni Association Awards, family Mass, and more.  

Seventy years later, the two lifelong friends renewed their vocation vows first taken in 1953.

Kim Haas, M.A. ’96, is utilizing her La Salle education as she hosts the PBS travel series, Afro-Latino Travels with Kim Haas.
